We had a wonderful day with Christophe at the end of July '24.
We sailed from the Marina of Leça da Palmeira, up the Douro river to the main metal bridge in Porto and along the way we were able to get a superb view of the Porto/Douro shorelines.
Christophe anchored in the bay just before we reached back out to the open sea and we had the most wonderful Portuguese themed lunch, (with local wine), all cooked by Christophe.
After lunch we sailed out into the Porto bay and tacked a few times before retuning to the Marina at Leça da Palmeira.
Christophe is extremely knowledgeable, knows the coastline well, is a seasoned sailor and a great host and cook.
We hope to sail with Christophe on La Voile Zen in the future.
